Throw Out Those Dryer Sheets

Yep, throw these out. You'll not only save money, you'll reduce your risk of dementia.

Brain health experts agree that environmental toxins can pass through the blood-brain barrier -- causing the inflammation and brain plaque build-up that destroys brain function.

Lurking in your home is one of the most innocent looking, yet worst, toxic offenders -- dryer sheets.

They coat your clothes with a thin film of toxic chemicals designed to prevent static cling and add long-lasting fragrance.

We unknowingly breath in these mostly petroleum-based neurotoxins all day and all night from our clothes, sheets and blankets.

If not bad enough, these toxins are also directly absorbed into our bloodstream through our skin as our body temperature and perspiration dissolves the chemicals.

And, we impact everyone who gets near us and takes a whiff -- and even our neighborhoods, as the toxins escape through our dryer vents.

What to do instead? Try any of these safe replacements to soften fabrics and reduce static cling...

  • Use wool dryer balls (Google them -- available everywhere)
  • Add 1/4 c. vinegar or 1/2 c. baking soda to the rinse cycle
  • Remove clothes while still slightly damp and hang to finish drying

Making this small, cost-effective change won't zero-out your toxic exposure, but hey...every little bit helps.
