SO SIMPLE. All you need is an uncomplicated 30-minute brisk walk at least five times a week.

No need to sweat. Just walk fast enough to get things pumping, but allows you to still speak easily.

MAKE IT FUN! Walk with family or friends. Take that poor dog out of the house. Call a neighbor to join you. Take your grandchild out for some fresh air.

Or revel in some 'alone time.' Put-in those ear buds and listen to your favorite tunes, a pacing app like 'FitRadio,' a motivational podcast, an audiobook, or a walking meditation.

My favorite? Explore a new trail. Download the 'AllTrails' app to find local trails you didn't know were waiting for you and soak-up some nature.
